Testing

• Food Sensitivity Testing –

  • Immunoglobulin G (IgG) food testing is a useful guide for structuring elimination diets for patients with many chronic conditions. Individuals with neurological, gastrointestinal, movement, and behavioral disorders often suffer from IgG food sensitivities. People may continue to eat offending foods unaware of their potential adverse effects. Symptoms associated with food sensitivities may occur hours or days after the offending food was eaten. The IgG food sensitivity test includes a wide range of foods, common in the Western, Asian, and Mediterranean diets.

Other Labs:

We partner with Northern Plains Laboratory (NPL) for testing such as blood work, infectious disease testing (Strep, Influenza, Covid-19, RSV, etc.), urinalysis, and more. Please note that these tests are run through NPL and therefore not resulted immediately in the home.

If testing is warranted, an additional $20 fee may be applied to your in-home visit from Sprout Wellness to order and process these tests.

Certain testing is not collected by Sprout Wellness staff in the home. Blood draws and urine samples are collected by NPL at any one of the Mid Dakota clinic locations in Bismarck.

Insurance can be billed for the cost of these labs.

We also partner with Mosaic and Rupa Health for other labs/testing.

Evening/Weekend/Holiday Appointments:

If you need your child to be seen between 5pm - 8pm during the week, on a Saturday or Sunday, or holiday, please call, text, or email to check availability as these days/times are by request only.

Please note: evening/weekend/holiday rates are $175 per child.

Inclement Weather/Hazardous Driving Policy

During times of inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions, Sprout Wellness, PLLC has the right to cancel or decline service requests if provider safety is at risk. Should the provider decide to keep scheduled appointments, a $50 hazardous travel fee will be applied to the total bill.

Occasionally our NP can provide medical care virtually or over the phone. In these instances, the provider makes the call on whether or not this form of care is safe. In the event it is, the following charges apply:

• $75 for medical advice and guidance (correspondence lasting longer than 5 minutes)

• $20 to call in prescriptions without an appointment

• $20 for referrals without an appointment
